Ok, here we are near the end of another year and here are my personal favorite Games that are a safe bet if you don’t already have them (some will be reviewed in full later). Here’s looking forward to another great year of new games as well as updates to make these games even better (Doodle Jump’s new snow mode is absolutely amazing). It should also be taken into consideration that several of the games below are on sale for the Holidays, so if any look good now is probably the time to pick them up if they are on [...]

Well, another weekend, another round of sales as well as a couple cool new Apps! Let’s get right to it! Navigon’s MobileNavigator North America is on sale for $69.99 (regularly $89.99, 4/5 stars). If you’re looking for a GPS app, now is the time to grab this one. 4/5 star reviews and a ton of them mean this is a great deal for anyone looking at a GPS app. Beneath a Steel Sky: Remastered is on sale for $0.99 (regularly $2.99, 4/5 stars). This is a remake of the classic PC point-and-click adventure game. The sale was supposed to end [...]

This week has been quite exciting on the new App front. First of all, Apple announced that there are officially over 100,000 Apps on the App Store, an impressive achievement. The pace of new Apps seems to be accelerating quite rapidly now, it wont be long before that number hits 200,000 then a million Apps. Unfortunately this does not bode well for those hoping for an end to Fart Apps Anyways, on to the biggest new releases! Doom Classic [App Store Link] is probably the biggest news of the week. id Software’s John Carmack had been hard at work on [...]

Tweetie 2 [App Store Link], the followup to the ever-popular Tweetie Twitter App for the iPhone has finally been approved by Apple and is now on the App Store and is storming up the charts (as of this writing it’s the #7 paid App overall). I’m grabbing it now and will post a review soon, but based on early buzz it seems like Tweetie 2 is worth just buying if you’re interested in a new Twitter App for your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Great news if you’re a Tower Defense junkie or if you just enjoy amazing games. geoDefense Swarm, the sequel to geoDefense, one of the most original, fun, and challenging tower defense games to ever grace the iPhone App Store, has just been released! If there was ever a game to buy just on name alone, this is probably it. If you have some sort of deep hatred for Tower Defense games, then you might want to think twice, but probably should pick it up anyway since it incorporates puzzle aspects as well. No longer confined to a set path, geoDefense [...]
