Not sure how long this sale is going to last, but Tap-Fu [App Store Link] is just $0.99 right now (regularly $2.99) and is worth a look if you want a nice casual fighting game. Reviews have been pretty positive (4/5 star review average so far on the App Store) so unless you hate the genre I don’t think you can go too wrong for $0.99. Another weekend, another round of iPhone & iPod Touch App & Game sales. Here are the ones worth checking out- Firemint’s Real Racing [App Store Link] is on sale for $4.99 (regularly $6.99). Real Racing is basically the Gran Turismo of the iPhone and is worth a look. If you don’t want to jump in head first, there is a free version called Real Racing GTI with just VW GTI cars available to drive courtesy of a VW marketing effort to see if you like the gameplay. Turn-based strategy junkies rejoice! UniWar [App Store Link] is currently on sale for two days only for $0.99, a hefty discount over its $4.99 regular price. It’s been on sale a few times in the past, but $0.99 is the cheapest price it’s been (never free). The developers just released an update a couple of days ago that looks to be receiving positive feedback on the App Store (4/5 stars average for the latest update). If you’re looking for an online turn-based strategy game, UniWar is definitely worth a look.

Ragdoll Blaster [App Store Link] is a fun little physics-based game that’s currently on sale for the first time ever for $0.99 (I bought it a while ago at its regular price of $1.99 and did not regret paying that much at all) and is definitely worth picking up for your iPhone or iPod Touch. There seem to be several Apps out there for reading documents on the iPhone or iPod Touch and a lot of them have mixed reviews and are quite pricey. If you need to view PDFs, Microsoft Office files, and more then Good Reader [App Store Link] seems to be a safe bet and it’s on sale for only $0.99 (regularly $4.99) until October 1st.
